Need Help in Getting a Decent System

I need help guys. I've been looking on ebay and seen 3 MTX "10" 4000 subs for 90.00 but feel the price is too low. I was wondering what you would recommend in getting, doesn't have to be 10 inch subs. I aready have a Memphis 1000d amp. I don't want to spend too much money on subs. So please can you guys recommend the best subs i should get for the cheapest amount of money, like under 300 bucks. Thanks

well that would be 400 dollars, but a single 15" SX would be sweet. or a single 12" SX.

2 alpine Type R 12's. Stores will sell them for 200 each, but i've found them online anywhere for 2 for 250 w/ one year warrenty for 26 each

or you could go with a 15" L7, or an 18 solo on a used deal.... but you wouldnt have enough power so forget about that...

type r 15's aren't the same as the 10's and 12's. sound quality with them sucks.

I have heard 3 or 4 different setups with the type r 15's and every one was slow and boomy.

I love my 10's, but wouldn't buy a 15 for anything.

sucks when someone doesnt know how to install a woofer properly huh.

subwoofer sizes compared to speed, sloppiness, ect. IS A MYTH!
