Low SPL Sub in a steel car?

Hello again, i was wondering how my sub (infinty kappa perfect 12d VQ) will sound in my trunk. Its an old steel clunker, and ive herd some negative things about subs in a steel car like:

The sound wont come through from the trunk into the cabin, or it will rattle the trunk cover like loco.

what are all yall opinion on this issue?
