need help for finishing installation

I'm installing a pioneer avh-p4000 double DIN unit in my 2006 Ford Ranger and I'm running into a few problems around the end of the installation, i'm really hoping you guys can help.

So far I've connected my illumination, constant 12v power supply, and all of my speakers.

Now is where I'm having trouble. My ignition (accessory wire?) on my new pioneer unit meets with two identical black/pink wires from my ranger. is one positive/one negative? if so do i run my negative to ground?

Also, in order to ground should i run my ground wires from my pioneer head unit through the harness, or right to the chassis?

To Find Ignition Test them with a dmm, not a test light, might pull too much current(bad if something is on the other end of that wire). Create a new ground.

Did you buy a wiring harness adapter or are you just hacking and splicing?

I've only got a basic multimeter as far as tools go, i figured i installed my last cd player why not try this? and i do not have a wiring harness i'm matching ford factory wiring charts with the pioneer wiring charts and I've been splicing them together, thanks for the quick replies BTW

Oh, and in the second picture you can see two green/black wires and one black wire, If i make a new ground i can just tape these up right?

put your meter to ohms put one lead to ground then one to the other wire to see which one is ground

where do these goto? green is usually for 1 channel off the radio(if it is from the radio).

sorry, i forgot to mention those, it says in the ford wiring diagram that all three wires are for grounding.
