if you want to push 1kw or more yes if no more than 800-1000 maybe 4.5 cubes per pair at the most depends what you want. i have done many dif ways and 3.5 per pair on 2kw at 38hz has always sounded the best and been the loudest overall.Would you recomend that design for the R's even if you had room for 4 or 5 cubes?
i used this one, and it just seems to small for these subs. This is for the swd-1242's right???![]()
I aint no drafter, but I drew up a sketch for you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I forgot the height on the vent, its 12.5
3.56ft^3 before any displacement, nowhere near enough for 12's...still kinda small for 10's. Not to mention it isn't designed right anyways. When the port splits in the back, you need to have half of the wider part of the port go each way, so 1.75" from the back wall for each port, then funneling into a 3.5" port.I'm too lazy to calculate it.. what's the internal?
