Need help designing ported box for 2 12" type r's

I'm planning on building a ported box with two vents in the middle of the box, with each sub in a separate chamber. If someone has a good template or layout of a box that would work well with these subs, could you give me a link or a picture, that would be great. I got these specs of Alpines website:

For a vented Enclosure the reccomended dimensions are:

18" x13.5" x 16.5" but i dont know what is what? which is width? height? depth?

and the vent length is 22.75", how can that work if none of the above numbers are atleast 22.75??

any help would be great!

¾: MDF

32” wide x 14” tall x 17.5” deep

Port = 12.5” tall x 3.5” wide

Length will be an L on either side : 12.5” deep and then 3.75” behind each sub

From what I remember, type r's love 2-2.5ft^3 each tuned to 35hz.

could i make them seperate chambers? dont subs normally sound better that way?

not in this case shared space is alway better it reduces the overall box by upto 25% trust me on this they will pound. i have used that design on many sub models and the type r and hifonics brutus subs assrape in that box.

how does that only come out to be 1 port? u said L on either side?
