Need help connecting two amps

What is the best way to connect two amps in my car. I read that the remote turn on can just be connected to both amps and I have a 4 gauge power wire running from my battery. I would just have to put a distribution block in? What if i wanted to run a cap in the middle.

alright. so does this sound right.

Connect the remote turn on to both amps

Use a distribution block to split my 4 gauge power wire for two 8 gauge power wires

Run a ground from both amps. Can i run the ground to the same place on my car?
