i've never had that experience. if the item is faulty they either refund me full price or replace the item after i ship back the broken one.Yes but more often than not. You won't get the same item. It will be inferior to what was originally bought. And they could ( the vendor) do a prorated cost it's how most of the online companies make their money I've been a dealer /rep for 15 years I've seen every scenario in car audio From buying and selling and in some cases it can take 3-6 months to be resolved
