Yes the one amp would be what you need to power both subs. Yes there are tons of different amps out there to power your subs. For starters here is a good place to browse arround. You by no means restrained to one company.

ok last question haha sorry um ok would i need a 2 channel or mono amp and also since each sub is 500 watts each would i need a 1000+ watt amp

like which of these would i need

1 x 1000 @ 4 omhs or something differnt

2 x 500 @ 2 ohms

? x ? @ ? ohms

1 x 1000 @ 4 omhs

2 x 500 @ 2 ohms

1 x 500 @ 1 ohm

all those should work. It does not have to be a mono. Anymore most mono's are class D's which by their circuitry have much better results for sub applications.

hey i found a amp and was wondering if it would work wit my subs. here are the specs for it

Number Of Channels: 2

Maximum Power: 1000 Watts

2 x 250W @ 4 Ohms.

2 x 500W @ 2 Ohms.

1 x 1000W @ 4 Ohms.

ok ive been going through a lot of amps n just cant find what im looking for. in the last post someone recomended a amp but that wattz didnt meet up to the 1000 i would need for the 2 subs. so can someone tell me wat kinda amp i should be looking for. Im wondering do i need

1 x 1000 @ 4 ohms or what

which would be the best one for the cheapest price. if someone could jus give me the setting i would need i can look up the amps.

you can also get a 1 ohm mono amp...

these are your wiring options: the first and second ones.....you would be better off gettin a 1 ohm amp such as the hifonics bx1000 or the bx1500....look at ikesound.com

http://www.jlaudio.com/tutorials/wiring/index.html

although im a little confused....are they dvc 4 ohms or svc 4 ohms..cause in 1 of your posts it states impedense=4 ohms

then in the same one it said dvc 4 ohms
