i have a 2000 audi a4 with big 3 upgrade and i need a good amp that can do 2000 rms at dual 1 ohm. i want to keep the price under 500. what amp should i get?

Here's a good start, for that price range. Look for amp with 2500~3000 of GOOD "CLEAN" POWER..

Buy one now and get a 2nd one later and strap them..

i just recently got a new amp for my 18" hdc3. The Planet Audio RXD2400.1 and honestly for the money im very impressed by it. im not gonna say it does 2400rms BUT it does **** close and i am positive its does ATLEAST 2k rms @ 1 ohm. And not to bad on the stock electrical i have either. i got it 235 shipped with 2 year warranty.

You'll want more than just big 3 upgrade to power anything that'll do that sub justice

you better be looking more in to 3000 -3500 watts rms to do the woofer justice.i would look at the dc 3.5 amps,or sundown saz 3500,both would be great choices
