So have a kenwOod deck I want to install in my 2001 suburban got harness an all hooked up only problem is stereo won't turn on?!?!!

Any ideas why?

Is everything hooked up properly? And is it grounded to the chassis?

yes amps are turning on and you hear the speakers turn on, for some reason stereo wont turn on. I tried 3 different decks and nothing

check all fuses and check to see if you have power coming in to the deck

well then you are getting power and the other stereo isnt getting power...which is weird, your ground for your other head unit might be bad, check it with a dmm

your not hooked up to the right acc. red wire from the gmos-01 unit.you need to pull the deck out turn the key to the on position and find the right power wire .make sure it goes on and off with the key.

get a DMM Digital Multi Meter / Volt Meter and see if there is power comeing from the red wire or yellow whichever one it is
