Need Help Asap

ok so as many of you who have read my threads before might know, i had a problem with my system cutting off and then back on. ok so i finally fixed the problem it was because apparently i closed my door to hard and the speaker was knocked loose and i must've forgotten to tighten it before. because it was making contact with my chassis, it caused the music to zone in and out. ok well anyway i fixed that and now got smacked in the forehead with a new problem....

I got rid of the cap and have my 500/1 mono amp by itself. But the weird thing is my sub wont actually come on!!! i know its connected because i go up close to and can hear a low static noise. im going to be going out with my friends pretty soon and want music back up =(

recheck your wiring. I'm sure you will find something wrong. Removing the cap won't cause the sub to stop playing. see is your power/remote/and ground are all secure.

Did you properly discharge the cap before disconnecting it? If not, you may have caused a surge to run through your amp.

no i did not..so if that happened does that mean im out of an amp!?

It's possible. Maybe you just blew the amp fuses. Check them. If they're good and you have a friend with a working system I'd try connecting the amp to it. If it still doesn't work you blew the amp.

sweet ima go out and check my fuses right now....and hopefully they are gone so i can just replace them =/....i cant afford another amp right now so it would **** if it did blow out

make sure your rca's are not pinched somewhere.

is tha amp turning on? just no soud only static?

just check over everything.

ok so i fixed the problem...my wiring inside my box were loose....thanks all that responded
