need help amplifying door speakers

I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring with the infinity amp underneath the passenger seat. my plan was to amp up my door speakers, running new wires to the output wires from the amp. but once i had connected the first door speaker to my amp i turned the car on to see if it worked. well it sounded really quiet like if you were to listen to a headphone from far away. so i thought it was the amp. no biggie i just tried a different amp. but when i put a different amp on it, there was no sound at all. i have ended up connecting both my front door speakers to this amp and there is no sound from either. can anyone tell me why? i know i didnt explain this very well im sorry.

so are you trying to run 2 amps at the same time to power the same speakers. Is the amp under the seat the factory amp or what? please explain your setup better if you want help.

i already bypassed the stock amp to run the speakers off my headunit by connecting the input and output wires. that created one wire correct? now im just trying to use the factory wiring to my speakers as the base for the wires to the amp.
