Need help, amp and sub work periodically regular speakers work all the time.

I have a 1994 Grand Jeep Cherokee, I have a sony explode cd player and have a amp and two 12inch subs. I have had no problem out of them before yesterday, I was driving and hit a bump and the subs quit hitting. Now they will work for anywhere from a few seconds to a min or two then just quit. The amp is getting good power but the subs work for a sec or two then cuts off??? Please any help will be greatly appreciated.

Your RCA cables may be lose on either end. Check both the back of the Sony and on your amplifier to make sure the connections are secure. Other than that, I'm still a noob and don't know lol

Also check for a loose ground where groused to the body
