need help/ advice

Looking to get all new sound system. Im stuck at what subs to get. I want 12's I guess. Its what I had before and they played all types of music fairly well. I want something way more powerful that still sounds good. I had 2 kenwood 400 rms total. I keep going in circles. Which brands are good which brands are cheap. I have confused myself looking at specs and what not. If someone can please help me show me a whole setup for subs. 2 12's, amp, kit, etc...

you need a budget to work with first , and what do you want from the system ,just bass , sq ,or both also how much power are you wanting to rub and what type of car / truck do you have

budget I would like to keep the whole system under 1000... if possible. I always have gone for the best things though. I am not cheap and when I do things I am gonna do it right and I want it to sound good so just hit me with something. I dont want just bass I want the best of both worlds. I def want something that will hit hard. I have a 2 door 2009 cobalt. This is what I was currently looking at JL Audio 12W3v3-4.

ascendant havoc is another good choice for woofers that has a very good sq base .what are you specifically looking for ? subs 1-2 what size,amp or amps how much power , door speakers [comps],and deck ,also new or used .

Are you willing to buy used? You could get some solid woofers for fairly cheap that way. Also, are you planning on upgrading your electrical system? This will help us determine how much power you are going to run.

I have two used Image Dynamics 12's if you want to go the sq route.

Looking for 2 twelve inch, buying a new amp not sure which one yet... door speakers I have not bought yet as well. I just got rid of my grand prix gt and I am starting fresh. This is the head unit I will be getting... Pioneer DEH-P7400HD.
