Here's the deal, I had an 800-watt kenwood amp pushing my subs and a 600-watt amp for the door speakers in my truck and ran both with no problems. I took the 800-watt amp and put it in my car (2005 Dodge SRT-4) to push my two 10" subs. No other amp, just a new keenwood head unit. Every time I turn it up more than half way the headlights dim and the dashboard lights dang near go out with the beat of the bass. Will a capacitor 'fix', or at least hide this problem, or do I really need to buy a bigger alternator and battery?
