am a mod.
hey there, its been a while since i posted somthing fun, so try this out at home!
materials needed;

large drill battery (higher voltage = better)
wire cutters\strippers
olfa knife
spare speaker wire
spare *working* speaker
*note - this might not work as well or as fast on larger voice coils with just the drill battery, you might need to use a wall socket or some other kind of voltage, but its gonna burn up FAST if you do it that way.
first step, assemble your materials, and proceed to DE-cone your speaker. cutting any protective cone covering from the front of your speaker, and then slicing the surround all the way around.

next, peel back the cone and surround to find the spider and tinsel leads, slice the tinsel leads close to the solder joints, and proceed to cut the spider all the way around, just like the surround.

after you got the spider all cut out, just pull out the whole soft part assembly, and we are ready to hook up our little test bed. disgard motor and magnet if you dont have any other fun and destructive uses for it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

next step is to get out your speaker wire, and strip a good ammount of the end with your wire cutters\strippers, and proceed to connect them (polarity does not matter) to the tinsel leads

now your all ready. PROCEED TO A WELL VENTALATED AREA BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS! IF YOU CAUSE YOURSELF OR ANYONE ELSE ANY HARM OR DAMAGE ANY EQUIPMENT, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE!
remember, safety first people, wear your goggles and you can use long speaker wire to keep a safe distance.
just find the + and - nodes on the battery, and hold them there - alagator clips are handy, but not needed.

SPOILER!!! DO NOT WATCH VIDEO IF YOU INTEND TO TRY THIS AND WANT TO BE SURPRISED!!!
lol, i think you know whats going to happen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
