ok, since i got my btl hooked up my mids/highs are pretty much unhearable when the bass hits....and i hate it.

i'll be installing 4 tweeters soon, so i'm not worried about that.

what i need advice on is a set of 6.5" coaxials/comps. i want them very loud and clear. i'll be powering them with a profile california amp, which amp i buy depends on how many watts rms the speakers need to get loud.

please keep the price reasonable.

wow. big *** tweeter. and 28 plus shipping a piece....i think i'll pass. they're out of stock until after christmas anyway. i can get some nice ones from the pawn shop here for 15 dollars a pair.

i know, pawn shop + 15 dollars per pair would normally mean total sh*t, but i've heard these and they do the job i need running straight off the headunit.

Because four tweeters running off the headunit is awesome, go for it. N00b. There are some nice Sony's on eBay, check those out.

if 4 tweeters on the headunit is what i want, then thats what i'll do. i didn't ask for opinions on that. i asked for opinions on 6.5" coaxials/components as replacement door speakers.

boston acoustics make good 6.5's. tweeters aren't really meant to receive a full signal from the head unit.
