need decision on new system (subs)

debating on getting two 15" audiopipe txx-ap15, sealed (facing up) VS. two 10" kicker L7's sealed... the subs will go in the trunk of my cavalier... i'm lookin for the most soundpressure in my car, i like that feeling like thiers a fan blowing at you in your car from the bac.. both the same price range, $250 for two subs, not lookin to go higher

Why not go ported?

you're going for spl but with sealed boxes? trying to save space, too?

those L7 10's ported would take up the same size box as (2) 15's sealed. Why not do the L7's ported. If done right you can make them sound like 15's.

how about this, 2 CompVR 12's should fall in your price range so I'd say do 2 of those ported. They'll get plenty loud and stick to your budget. You could probably get 2 Alpine Type R's for less than 250 as well. I know someone that is selling 2 RE SE 12's for around 250 here:
