I have a toyota paseo which has the worst sound system on earth. It has 4inch front speakers and 6.5's in the rear. I was told I can fit 5.25's in the front with little to no modifications. This will be my main, and only speakers for mids and highs. The rears I will probably remove. I have a budget of 100$. I will be running these off an alpine amp that makes 70 watts RMS at 4 ohms.
Can you think of better speakers than phoenix gold RSD's? I know most ppl like the 6.5's but I dont have the $ to modify the door and I'd rather not. So I'm going with the 5.25's.
also, its a fairly small car, only 2 door. I plan to mount the amp in the trunk. Will 16g speaker wire be big enough for wiring the components?
Thanks
