Need componets / amp all for under $600

Hi,

Well i didnt know where to post this really, since it involves both speakers and amps but yeh.

I was wondering what componet speakers (6.25 in) and what amp i could get for under $600, 500 preferred, $700 max. I mostly listen to rap and while i like music loud as hell, i care a lot about sound quality. Heres some links of what ppl have recommeneded me to get.

So i was really aiming towards the JL Audio 300/4 amp though, would the JL audio be better? I really dont like buying brands ive never heard of, but if its good, then its good. Also, hows this Alpine amp

As for the componets, i really dont know what to get. Please give me recommendations.

Also whats a good sub/ amp combo for $500? I really want a hard hitttin sub with great sound quality, along with the amp.

Lastly, wheres a good place to buy this stuff? It would be nice if they accepted paypal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. If i was to aim for the JL audio amp, i had plans on buying one off ebay.

The ed NiNe.2 will do you just as good as the JL and cost you 1/2 the price ;P.

Those comps will be just fine for you..

I'd go with an Avalanche 15" (you can find 'em for around $250) and then get a refurbbed Orion 1200d from ikesound. they are $220 IIRC from there.

i think something like a zapco 350.2 and like boston SL60's or maybe the type x's.

as for the sub, i would think like a diamond audio d5 1200.1. you can find them pretty cheap, and like a treo ssi 15" ported.

As for the sub I personally have an avalanche 15 -- however the soundsplinter RLP is nice or the RE XXX -- the RLP is in production though for the others you would have to find something used...

How is the Diamond Audio d5600.2 sound? Is it class A/B? Ive never, ever seen or heard a Diamond Audio amp, but i do know the company.

Eh how will the MB Quart amp do? Its only $250, and i know they got some high end speakers (just dunno about their amps)

Is it class A/B? Would it be better than the nine 2 or jl audio 300/4? Or is this a sub amp?

I would get the diamond over then quart. The D5600.2 is an awesome amp, You could probably get by just fine with a D5300.2 as well, and put it with some nice seperates, maybe some D661 a/s 's... depends on how much mounting depth you have to work with. I have 300.2's if you can't find one. PM me if interested

dont waste your money on the D6's. they are a good speaker, but they do lack mid-bass. there are many other options out there that are just as loud and sound better.

aight ive decided to get a used jl audio 300/4 for around 250 (is that a good deal?). My problem is, how do i wire it to the battery????????

I personally have no idea how to wire the amp, well as in terms of power.

you are going to have to run RCA's from the decks pre amp outputs to your amps inputs. when you run your RCA's also run the wire labeled Remote or REM to the amplifiers REM input, this tells the amp to turn on. run those down one side of the car and the power cable down the other side to prevent interference.

for the power, you are going to need to run, to be safe 4 awg, but 6 awg will do, from the + battery terminal to the + or 12volt input on the amp. the ground will have to be ran to a solid metal piece in the car, probably under the carpet in the trunk, make sure you arent screwing or drilling into anything before you do so!!! as for teh speakers, just wire it up as it looks, + to +, - to -.
