real quick I n eed to get some specs for the best sq ported box. I was looking at something between 1-2 cuft tuned to 27-28 with 20 ish square inches of port. but I can't decide on the final specs

Probably go a little bigger. 2.5 cubes with ~30 square inches of port. IMO the box size you sugguest will be choking the woofer off more than anything.

Mine is 1.6 Cube net. Wish I could have fitted 1.75-2 cubes so it would dive down deeper with authority.
