So I had a deal but it fell through so I am looking for a battery to go into my trunk (I will replace the one under the hood later, I want the one in the trunk first so I can route my wiring to it now instead of later)

So I know I can get yellow tops at delear's here but they are so dang expensive...

Best deal ive found thus far is http://cgi.ebay.ca/KINETIK-HC1800-CAR-AUDIO-BATTERY-POWER-CELL-KHC1800-NEW_W0QQitemZ110270872865QQihZ001QQcategoryZ50552QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Should I just get that? I am trying to keep it under $200 shipped but it doesnt seem like I can do that with shipping companies wanting $60+ for shipping a batt...

Also the most I will probably ever run is 3k watts. Right now I will be running 1700wrms to a Memphis 1000D and Apline PDX4.150.

if your at 1700 you could find a kenetik around 950amps. they run around $180 i believe.
$180 shipped to canada?

The above ebay link is for an HC1800 for $180 plus like $60-70 shipping to me (plus UPS brokerage fees and BS)... maybe ill ask if they can ship USPS...

Or should I be looking for a better brand?

oh no go kenetik. that one your loking at is great. i would say more power than you need but for that price i might bid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well my thought is it will do well for my current set up and then if I upgrade to 2-3kwrms then I can just add a second one and still be ok.

But I found another auction for an HC800 for only $120 plus $45 shipping via DHL brokerage prepaid... that might be my winner...

EDIT:

Going by the calculator on kinetik's site they recommend a single HC1400 for my current setup of 1700wrms and if I go with two 1000wrms amps for my two 12" DD's that would put me at 2600wrms total and there site recommend's two HC1400's...

I found from the same sell as the HC800 an HC1400 for $209 plus $45 brokerage paid DHL 2day air shipping... which is about the same as that HC1800 linked above but I would still have UPS fees to pay on that one...

I think I am going for this HC1400 and then get a second one later (plus upgrade the one under the hood)...

Sound good?
