Beware of Dog!
I just need a little help as to where I should set the xovers on my tweeters and 6.5"s. They are the the RE XXX components and I have an Alpine H701 so I won't be using the passive xovers that came with them. I opened the xovers and looked at the switches and heres how I set it up.
Tweets - HP 3.2 KHZ @ 18 Slope, LP 20,000 KHZ @ 18 Slope
Mids - HP 80 HZ @ 18 Slope, LP 3.2 KHZ @ 18 Slope
Subs - HP 25 HZ @ 18 Slope, LP 90 HZ @ 18 Slope
Does this look ok to you all? I've never run active so I'm not quite sure. Whats the lowest I should set the tweeters to play and whats the highest the mids should get? Thanks for your help!
Also, I have a weird problem. Yesterday I hooked the the Power 1000 to the door speakers and turned on all the remote switches because I forgot which one turned on that amp. When I did that the Z1A came on and the subs started to play. I have fuse holder installed inline from my trunk bats to the Z1A but I don't have any fuses in them. How can this amp be on with no fuses in the power line? Thanks again!
