need basics on ported 12 enclosure, help:)

all done got it in the car fits good. sounds better but not great. its the sub, its just basically crappy. this box would sound awesome with my jl audio w1 but the sub in there right now is larger than most 12s so the jl probably wouldnt fit, besides its too weak for the jbl bp600 amp anyways, but im going to make another one of these boxs tomorrow for the w1 to use in my other mustang yeah i have 2 mustangs and both with subs in them. thanks soo much everyone!!!
