need bandpass design for 8"

i still have one of 3 dd1008a that i have and it seems its not moving so since i am getting a amp that will give it 500 at 4 ohms i decided i should see what it can do. i am still undecided if i wanna go basic ported or bandpass, if anyone can suggest one over the other and y plus also help me design the bandpass that would be great

looking to get the best daily output i can get out of this one 8 off of 500 watts, will most likly go in a 1999 expedition.

main reason for this box is to spark local interst in selling this sub, easier to sell local if they hear it be loud.............
