Need Audio Experts advice please!

I have a 2013 GLS and just installed a double din Kenwood DPX500BT with two 12" Alpine Type-R's running off a JL Slash 1000/1 Amp and JL Evolutions in the back doors. Still stock in the front doors and no second amp but still sounds great. It's the same system I've used in my other cars except for the updated head unit.

Here's the problem. Actually I have two.

1) The is a slight buzzing or static noise when listening to FM radio. I would think it was the RCA's (I used a pretty cheap pair) but the is no noise playing USB, CD's, or Bluetooth.

2) When making a call using the Bluetooth people on the other end say they also hear like background noise or echos. Not sure since I haven't heard it myself. I can hear them perfectly fine though.

I have the Bluetooth cord behind the HU bundled up because it is really long. That and the FM antenna plug in are right next to each other. Could those two touching be interfering with each other?

I'm so lost as I'm not an expert so any advice would really help.

i haven't found a permanent spot for the BT mic yet but no matter where i hold it or where i sit people say it sounds like crap.

The HU came with a Antenna adapter but I didn't see anywhere to plug it into. I just plugged the cable from my car into the aftermarket HU.

go into the head unit settings and see if there is a mic sensitivity option. Play with that and see if you can make an improvement.
i was doing that but the caller said there was no change.

could the Bluetooth and antenna cable touching be interfering with each other?

I suppose it could but doesnt seem that likely because of how the mic plugs into the stereo. I would make sure that its plugged into the proper input and not the aux or sw control and also that its snug. Theres also a small chance you have a faulty mic.

I figured out the FM problem. I have a mono setting on my HU and just had to turn it on. That seemed to take away the noise.

Still don't know about the BT issue :/

I know it's plugged into the right thing. A faulty mic would be the easy way out but how do i test that? Are there other mics that will work or do i have to get the one it came with?
