need an opinion on a setup..

I just bought an amp from a member here. It is a Rockford Fosgate 800A2. I want to use it to drive a set of 8" RE subs in a ported box. I am I looking to blow those 2 little 8" RE Audio subs with that amp? Or will that be a decent combo.

whats the rms on the 8"s?

i just checked on the 8"s. they are 175 rms each. so that should be fine. just dont turn the amp wide open

i was told an underestimated 175. amp is 2x200@4ohm

oh at 4 ohn that would be perfect then. they prolly can take a little bit more but 200 on each of those should work well
