need an efficient frugal monoblock

i will be in need of a mono amp capable of about 800-1000wrms @ 2ohms. it needs to be efficient and reasonably priced, i want it to run an mb quart pwe354. any ideas? hopefully less than $300, also around 120amp fused. i know about ap1500d, isitasefficient assayandaq 1200d, or should i opt for the aq? factory refurbs any good? i have the big 3upgrade, 1guage. oh, and thanx in advance.

Mtx 1501d. Not sure how efficent it is though. And it could be modded(free) at a later time if your setup changes.

I have an Massive Audio N4 amplifier. Does 2000 @ 1ohm, and 1000 @ 2ohm. Its super small, and is like new. Still has warranty through authorized dealer. It seemed pretty efficient when I had 2 of them.

I think what he means by efficient is he wants something that will do 800-1000@2 ohms while drawing the least amount of current guys.....late response but i was searching threads and came upon this one. Anything MTX and Rockford Draws quite a bit of juice.
