Hello Guys,

I have 2 Indoor/Outdoor Speakers that each are 150 RMS@8ohms, and I need an amplifier for them.

I'm looking for something low cost, decent quality, that have rca audio input, preferably small and I want to be able to have power to max them, Any Suggestions?

Something I have or can get. I'll have to check cost tomorrow. I bought one for my db drag shows it's a small PA system. Comes complete speakers mixing board amp. All the wires and even a mic

well, best buy does usually have 2/4 channel amp/"reciever" for cheap, and it seems like it will do well new...... honestly, though, you can get the last line of real technics aps (i.e. su-v78, su-z.......) and they are a true 110x2rms, small form factor, and many have a power switch issue, being sold for like 10-30 range. i have a couple, and they are great, and a smart buy.

Thanks, but I already bought something different a while ago. PM me with what you have in case I'm interested in buying something else.

This is my world, since I work for one of the largest commercial/professional audio brands in the world.

There aren't a lot of rack mount amplifiers on the market with that low of a power rating. We certainly don't make one. The only one that comes to mind is a small amplifier by a brand named Stewart.

If you can find an old Crown D100 or D250 they sound awesome. You can search Craigslist for a smaller Crown or QSC amplifier. Maybe an old Carver

In the future, check out the Mackie Thump TH15: it is a 500+ watt active 15 inch two way that only cost $350 for the whole package. They are hugely popular with DJs, bars and churches.

Since you said that, for home use, what do you recommend to power:

1- 1 15" Kicker L7 Dual 4ohm 1000rms subwoofer?

2- 1 12" Pioneer 4 ohm 500rms sub?

Thanks.

And FYI, no professional audio amplifier in the entry level price points is going to contain the crossover capabilities seen in the car audio world: they assume that you have a separate system processor/crossover. Most people who are looking for something quick and affordable do something like a Rane AC22 or AC23. You can move up to a dBX Drive Rack or something more, but they are all more expensive system processors.
