Need amp suggestions for my subs...

I have a pair of RF P3 12" 4ohm subs in an isoberic box. 500watt RMS, 1000 Max

Need suggestions for an amp, preferrably an RF amp, but it doesn't HAVE to be.

Been looking at the:

-T10001bd Mono Amp

-Punch P6001

-T5001bd

-Punch P600.1bd

I'm pretty new to car audio, so any advice would be appreciated.

BTW, my total budget for amp is $300.

I also need to find a decent price on a 0/1 install kit.

Would it be better to get a mono amp to power the subs, or a 2 channel amp and bridge it?

How about the ROCKFORD FOSGATE POWER T8002 2,400 WATT PEAK (800 MIN RMS) 2 CHANNEL??

It's a little cheaper pricewise and the RMS seems compatible....

Under $300 all day long on Ebay....

or the Kenwood eXCELON KAC-X812D MONO CLASS D ?? A lot cheaper..lots of power.

A T8002 or any other RF Power 2channel amp won't work with your dual 4ohm subs. You need an amp that makes max power at 1ohm mono and they're only good for 2ohm when bridged. The T10001bd is too much power for P3s. Stick with a T5001bd.

Sweet. The guys on the RF forum suggested that amp as well. That will also save me an assload of cash so I can get higher quality install kit.

I bought that exact amp.... Will I need the 2 or 4 ga RF wiring install kit????????????

I also bought a cap (as recommended by RF) *bracing for flame session.

RF says that this amp only accepts down to 4 ga wire.... I found this kit online, whaddya think??

I went ahead and bought that too.... now the LONG wait for the delivery...then the install.... I'll let you guys know how it all goes sometime next week.
