maybe a hifonics bx1500d? i mean, it's a 1 ohm dvc with rms of 2400w, u can pretty much run anything you want on it. the hifonics is 1500w rms at 1ohm so it'll do the job....

whats bout the ma audio hk-602sx? i really wanna push this sub hard. but the ma audio is putting out more then 3000 watts will that damage the speaker? maybe some distortion might be going on? any other amp suggestions? like around 2000 watts n more. the money is a problem too. thanks for you help.

that might be a little too much power....i believe it's usually better to have more power than having an underpowered amp pushed to its maxx...but 1200 watts difference is a lot.

if you wanna push it to it's max rms, the Audiobahn A2300HCT runs at 2300w at 1 ohm. that may be a good choice for you.

not really into audiobahn. maybe alot of people say their good but from what i saw at a show it didnt impress me at all. maybe it was the shop that did something wrong or the person that own the system tuned it wrong i dont know. if i was to get one of these amps that u suggested i would have to run a 1 gauge wire right? right now im running 3 JL W6s 12s with a crossfire 680 watts. with a phoenix gold 300x4 ti amp and everytime i would turn it up the system drains. it goes down to like 12v and i do have a 1 farad cap from light audio with the digital reading. everytime i turn it up the sound just lowers itself. i thought it was my ears going deaf at first but a few times doing it i knew it wasnt.i am running a 4 gauge right now for this setup. maybe you can help me? thanks.

i went to the show last week...importgt in somerset. where is marlboro? is that by marlton? i'm down in burlington county btw...dont compete but i like to go to the shows as a spectator, dont know of any though...for a speaker capable of 2400 watts and ur gonna be pushing it close to that...i'd think about upgrading to either a 2 ga. or bigger...i dont know much about really high power systems.

yeah, you're definitely going to want to look into a new alternator. AT LEAST 200 amp high output alternator. Any amp that you choose...upwards of 2000watts rms will draw MASS current. so, i'd first make sure you have enough money to get a new alternator...get it re-wire and installed...and also think about a redtop under the hood for and and the possibility of a yellow top in the rear. peace
