Yeah i'm getting it for about $50 more, i've just heard better things about this amp then i have the hifi.

A good "solid" box will make the biggest difference. If you want louder look up the specs for that sub for a ported box and have it built or build it yourself. I have run both alpine and hifonics(my current sub amp is a hifonics bxi2610) both are great and i also happen to think the hifonics looks really nice.
