Need amp for 2 jl w7's... Help required

A friend of mine just got 2 jl w7's and was thinking of getting a mmat amp(don't remember which one) to put on it. I never heard a mmat amp but some posts said they were good. I recommended Hifonics or the old autotek amps because of experiance with them.

mmats amps are pretty good, along with jl, phoenix gold, arc audio, zapco, rockford fosgate, elemental designs, cadence, us amps and the list goes on. of course some are more than the other, but it all depends how much he/she wants to spend. one of the members here is selling a rockford fosgate amp for $600 shipped (really good deal). here's the link:

you might want to check out the classifieds here... there are a few people selling orion 2500d and 1200d amps for pretty cheap. i know your boy had a few brands in mind, but you should alway keep your options open!! as far as 1500 watts per sub being too much, is it a 12 or a 13?

mmats amps are great, they pour out some serious power, and are way underated.
