I have basically decided on a kicker CVR 12" unless someone can sway me from that(since I don't know much about car audio). Anyways, I haven't purchased it yet so I can go with either the 2 ohm DVC or 4 ohm DVC. I have $150 at the most to work with for the amp but would be happier if i could spend less. Can you guys recommend me some amps in my price range? I do not understand what bridged output is and the specifics, so could someone explain that to me as well? I know the CVR is 400w RMS so does that mean I can't give it more than 400w?

ill go with either bj's amp or the cadence one prob unless someone can recommend me another amp. are there any good one's i should search out on ebay? i don't really know which brands are good and which aren't.

Of the two amps and not playing favorites, I honestly like the Alpine better, strong ltitle amp.

I think you can get the CVR the solid 600 rms from that amp.

What vehicle, what size woofer, and what kind/what size enclosure?

98 buick park avenue with a large trunk. 12" kicker CVR. the box i have is a slot ported box with a rough estimate of 2.1-2.2 cubic feet just from measuring the outside dimensions of the box. slot is about 13" x 2.5"
