Got my Earthquake amp in today.

Well, as the title states. I was kinda leary about using this amp because a) it was cheap and b) its pretty darn small for 3000RMS @ 2ohms. I got some good words on it from louisiana_CRX though, and as most of you know he's used tons of gear, and gave this a good review, so we'll see how it works out for me.

good luck my comp car had them in there, then I switched to some factory modded ph2000

We used to call them firecracker amps. Hope yours dont end up like the past ten i ran.

Cant wait to see the finished product and some vids. Let me know how you like that amp. It was one model I was looking at a while back but decided against due to the mixed reviews and the stories of them going up in flames, plus I needed something 1ohm stable.

That amp has never been run below 2 ohms and was run fairly hard for several months on two DD 1500's....It is a good solid amp and never had any issues...It is really powerful for the size...I still have my modded Earthquake D3 and It has never gave me any problems either....
