Need advise...please help!

so i got my 1000/1 about a month ago, and ever since, ive been blowing fuses. and since ive used the same exact untouched wiring when i had my kx1200.1, ive determined that the amp is bad (ive also checked power wire for shorts). soooo...i want to get a new amp. id like to step up a lil in wattage. im pretty sure a 13w7 can handle 1500wrms as a DD, right?

anyways, i need suggestions on a new amp that will do around 1500wrms at 3 ohm or .75 ohm. i considered an old school HCCA. any other suggestions?

yeha it can ahndle the power. my friend ran 1600 to his 12 with no problems. so im sure it can ahdnle that power

An M1 is pricey, but a great amp

Expect around 800w at 14.4v at low distortion.

yeah, i just googled Digital Designs M1. Thats not enough power for me

If you wire it down to 0.75ohm, it'll give that W7 plenty of power. Its rated at 600 watts, but there have been instances that when it is wired below 1ohm, it'll pump out 1500+ watts. Retail price is $799, but I'm sure it can be found for less.

AHHHHH!!! HA HA!! I figured out why i keep blowing fuses. My power wire was shorting out under my rear seat. i must have overlooked it. this is sweet, now i dont need a new amp.
