need advice with whine

I am having problems with a high pitched whine coming through all the speakers in the car whenever I hook up the rca's for my subs to the "sub out" on my deck. The "rear out" produces no whine, but that is not a desirable fix because I do not have the sub controls I like to use.

The car is a Mercedes Benz c36 AMG

the deck is a Premier deh-p850mp

the amp is a fosgate power 750

the subs are Premier 10's

The "sub out" should be a good output because I took it out of my dodge Ram last week and it worked fine with all the same equipment listed above. It just happens that in the mercedes i am getting a whine with the "sub out" only.

road noise, check wires, internal amp in car? check ground. umm thats all i can think of someone else will have other checks

reground the deck and if it still does this but not from the other rca outputs on the deck (hooking those up to the sub amp just to test from noise) then its more than likely a damaged rca output on the deck.

Hey I just had the same problem with my 960mp..like the last guy said, reground the headunit and make sure you have all good connections. If it is still doing it try switching the headunit out with a friends just to see if it could be that. If the noise stops then its your rca outputs messed up. Hope that helps.

well, i let it sit over night and this morning i went out and unhooked everything and rehooked up everything....works great!!! no whine at all....GO FIGURE>
