Need advice on what would be best box for kicker l7 15 single

I have a honda civic coupe and just bought a kicker l7 15 that's in a crappy prefab ported enclosure that's breaking, I want to build a new one just need advice on what is best for a single 15 inch kicker in a trunk, I like to listen to mostly rap and hip hop but ill listen to rock to sometimes, I like hitting lows but don't want to lose to much loudness so what would be a good tune? Also slot port or aero? The demisions I have are 28 inch wide, 17 inches, tall and 18 inches deep thanks

You have barely enough space there to run a single round 12" woofer properly. The square 15" is the cone area of a round 18 and it will never perform well in that little airspace.

In the car now it gets loud in prefab but deffenatly could do better with a bigger box

What hispl is telling you is correct. That space you have I'd for a 12. A 15 needs a much bigger box
