Need advice on planned build.

i would be wary of taking it to somewhere to have stuff installed UNLESS you have done alot of homework and research on this perticular install shop and found some satisfied customers of wich they have had similar work done - as you plan on doing.

you already got alot of the hard part done - finding out what you need - and researching potential pit falls on your specific viechle

im not saying its as eazy as grabing a screwdriver and taking out a few screws - BUT you might not want to count your self out as a main part of the install team

Normally, I'm very pro-DIY, but lately Iv been working 50-60 hours a week and just simply don't have very much time to commit to a large project like that. I can't really have my vehicle out of comission because I jacked something up. At the very least, they are obligated to get it up and running and I can deal with any issues along the way. If I tried to do this Id be in my cold garage with a philips wondering where to put it. Probably my own eye socket.

I do plan on upgrade this and that I will do on my own once the base wiring and such is done. One of my goals is to actually build my garage up as well so I don't have to rely on others who are just doing their job and may/may not care about how good they are at it as long as it is able to leave the store without me noticing anything.
