Need advice on kicker cvr12 + kicker zx1000.1

I just bought 2 kicker cvr12's 2ohm with a RMS of 400 watts each. I used to have 2 kicker cvr12's and a kicker zx750.1. I wanted to upgrade the amp this time to the kicker zx1000.1 but I'm a little worried about blowing my subs. Any advice?

set your gains properly

they'll take it as long as u dont crank your gain wide open. (then pretty much no sub will take it)

I abused the eff outta my CVRs back when i had em and the guy i sold em to is still beatin on em to this day.

I sold em over a yr ago.
