i have a hiphonics 1606 brutus, i was on a long drive of about 2 hours( not really pushing it) and then i turned it up for one song and nothing. i got power everywhere but to the channels(all fuse's fine wiring ect.) iv had the **** thing maybe two months pushing it at 2 ohm and see no reason for this, it is a cheap amp and im wondering if its worth being sent in( im good with electronics and think i can fix it fine with some advice from you all as long as the board is not fryed)im praying that its just the channel connections from the amp terminal to the mother board but have not pulled it apart just yet. anyway many questions id like answered, is it just a cheap piece of shit and not worth fixing? if its just terminal connection damage is it just a quick coder job? do i just need to say **** it and buy a 3k watt amp?
