need advice on a regular cab cut through

I have did 4 complete blow thur's 2 rangers,1 s10's,1 f150. I have had to reverse the f150 and 1 ranger for trade in.They can be reversed fairly easy. As long as your cut's are smooth and even. You can just weld the plates back in, then some fresh paint on the box side and put the original carpet back in the cab. The only way to tell it was done is if they look between the cab and box. So yes it can be done and still be put back so it looks oem.

X2^^^^^^^^^^thats what i did when i had 4-15's in the bed of my 87 nissan king cab.it pounded, but ruined the truck.
I was thinking 2 13w7's because I have them already, I also have 2 12" w6v2's but if I was going to be a blowthrough I would have upgraded the subs because JL is not as good as some of the other stuff out there.

I knew it would be possible to reverse it but for those who are picky you have to be carefull on how you weld it or you can warp the pannel. you would almost have to stich it in then use body filler, but you would not even notice if it warped because you wouldnt see it.

you could duraglas it in!!!!

the 2 13w7's would be great, but if your doing all the work of the blow thru try 3 or 4 of them:D:D:D

lol... yea, go big or go home.

here is some more photo's for those of you who care to see them. The first picture demonstrates the shitty quality of paint on this year of truck. look at the hood, looks like a dairy cow.

The f150 i welded and i had no warp! plus it was covered in carpet and the corner plastic's. the biggest pain was the inside of the box, because you have to leave the top brace for support. It will give you a great spot to hide the weld when reinstalling.

Yea, I would also have to be careful of how high I cutt it because there is a support brace in the cab behind the seat to.

Don't do it, Memphis just came out with some shallow mount subs and they only need THREE INCHES of depth
Yah that is another way to go. there are over 50 company's that have shallow mount woofers now (massive, memphis,jl,jvc, kenwood, pioneer, and on and on:)

I havent heard any good sounding shallow mount subs yet though (i have only heard the kenwood and pioneer's) but after having 2 13" w7's it kind of a standard I have gotten used to. I was thinking 3 10" old w6's which have a mounting depth of 5"
