need advice for a c5 vette

looking to put a sound system in my 2002 zo6 vette. any suggestions. i mostly listen to rock and dance music. money is not a big issue here, sound quality and balance is. i would like to keep to a single amp (5 chanel) for weight issues, as i do race my vette on the road courses. please help me out?

its not very smart to race on a road coarse with car audio equipment, unless you plan on taking 2 vehicles and taking out your woofer(s)

i would like to use the jl stealth box with a 10w7 and just remove it before my events. maybe even take the amp out. this is my dd and i only track the car 1 a month so removal is not that big of a deal. any suggestions on amp and components? been looking at these.

I think a wall will do well in this setup.

Actually if money is not an issue, I would go with an 8" w7 with a 500/1 fiberglass between the seats and some nice components up front amped.

I have a customer going with 2 10 inch brahmas in a Z06. But if you are looking to keep it not so heavy 1 10 would sound great.

JL's stealthbox uses a 10w3v2... I've installed a few in c6 vettes. You would have to spend ALOT of time massaging in a w7 in a vette. A stealth box with a 500/5 or dls a7 would be great.

if the 10w7 wont fit in a stealth i might go custom then. im going to use the memphis belle 1300. so at 2ohm it putting out 115x4 and 600x1 to the w7. would this work?

Reference is around $6-7k for the two-way set. Platinum is around $2,500 I believe. The Reference set would require some fabrication to fit as the tweeters are large format.
