well, we're trying to tell ya...that for the price, none of the local brands will compare very well to what we're recommending. those three are mediocre, and overpriced if ur shops sell them retail. peace

locally big name brands - the best for the money would be Alpine Type R's. any others?

the thing is you can get the aforementioned brands (RE elemental designs adire) shipped for a very good price and the quality is outstanding well worth spending a few extra bucks than getting some crappy subs at bestbuy

all of those three can be found around here(kentucky to say the least) so think about that lol.... but if your looking into buying locally.... those are my top picks. but as the guys said before, your gonna get alot better subs for the price on the retailers they mentioned, edK.. RE... and so on

ok i think im going to go with 2 12" SE's now what about an amp, i dont want it to drain alot of power but still want it to make them subs jump. nor do i want it to drian my wallet lol. i have a cadence z1200 2 channel amp, whats the specs on it and should i use it on them?

You can only get them from the site or an RE dealer. However, the prices on the site are just MSRP. The actual prices are considerably lower. A 12" SE will run around 170-180 a piece, but don't quote me on that.

well if they are that much i think i will go with 2 hx2 punches and a 1000bd amp. it would be cheaper that way too. that a good combo?
