wanna get a good quality SQ 12" sub. gotta b dual 4 ohms and 500 - 600 watts rms. using an MTX Thunder Elite 600 watt mono amp 2 ohm stable
As demonstrated by your lengthy explanation, right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifIDQ > IDMax
Well that depends on your application. The IDQ is an amazing sounding driver but the IDmax edges it out in low frequency extension whether sealed or ported. The IDQ just doesn't have any low end when sealed. In car, my IDQ peaked around 55hz and barely got down to 40hz -- it was pretty inaudible at 30hz too. This was in about 1 cube. Ported, it did much better but was still lacking sub 35hz. Excellent sounding driver but the FR wasn't really there for me. The IDMax sounds just as nice but has more linear excursion and can get down low either ported or sealed.IDQ > IDMax
