Alright, so I don't think I can stand the RE RE 10 with 400 watts anymore... Just isn't enough... It does sound decently good and gets decently loud for an extremely budget woofer...
I'm still going to keep this relatively cheap... need some opinions though.
Think I'm going to pick up a Cadence TXA-1000d (1000 @ 1 ohm) and I'm wanting to get a woofer/s that likes 1000watts but still cheap and can sound good. ~$250
Thinking 2 Fi X 10s (or 12s if I have the room) from the clearance sale.. Feeding them 500watts each in 2 cubes ported (unsure of tuning, any thoughts?)
Also am considering an Fi Q 10 ported in 1.2 at 33hz (or so)
Haven't really given any thoughts to other woofers as I thought the X's were a great idea...
Any other ideas on a woofer/s that would like 2 cubes and stay under $250
I considered a type R, but I don't think it will suite me in the SQ department, which is ultimately more important although I do need a decent ~135dbs
Thanks in advance...
