Need a sealed box built for my 15"...

You have to take a look on the other side of the fence as well.... you want to get the best product for your dollar. But on our side, we want it to be worth our time. Building a good enclosure takes a good amount of time. To build a good enclosure you must use quality materials. My prices may be on the higher end of the spectrum, but I dont use sub par materials to build either. Sure, I could go grab some particle board, shoot it together with brads, forget the glue, use a cheap carpet with a cheap adhesive.... but I dont want to put my name on something like that.

my time is worth money. i spend my days working my *** off makinga decent living. i dont mind doing someone that i consider a friend, a favor. or even a teammate. but if i built you a box for 90 shipped, then i have all kinds of other people asking me why you get the hookup.

thats just how it is man, but im curious, who did you get to build it for you for 90 bucks?

btw, for a custom enclosure, 120 bucks (shipped) is definately not top dollar. you can go to any audio shop and they will start you out around 200 for dimensions that you give them, and about 150 for boxes that are already made.

ok...u get what u pay for. Thats off top. What is your point? Im not asking my neighbor to build me a box... I had a ported box built by jmanpc a while back for alot cheaper than what others were asking. I still have that box in the same condition. Why would I buy JL when I can get FI..... I never complained to u about your prices, u decided to post about how much I was looking to spend, really wasnt that serious considering I know about three ppl that can build the box... Get off my dick about this already.

btw, why would I tell u who built me the box for $95 anyway? So he can make 100 boxes for bottom dollar? If he posts or even posts pics up of the box then thats what it is...not really that serious.

for 1 jmanpc wasnt making money on boxes he had some spare wood that he build boxes out of he built a couple when he as on a box high and now ask him to build one for that and i bet he turns it down... and he was in a itch to use his new table saw then
