Need a new system ($1000 Budget)

Ok, well I would suggest you look into some Panasonic h/u, they have great function, are good for budget and look pretty nice too.

Speakers- check out some CDT components, Diamond audio, Focal for front components.

Speaker amp- Something along the lines of Profile 2ch. Or Crossfire make some nice speaker amps for the money.

(4ch. if you want rear speakers wich really are not needed.)

Subwoofer- Incriminator Audio 187's (low-hz.com)

Sub amp- anything that can give an rms of 300 per woofer.

Lol Bri...Actually I dunno what your selling your stuff for but it's some nice equipment to look into, if your comfortable buying used. I just listed new stuff that would fit your budget and be pretty good quality at the same time.

Head Unit- Alpine CDA-9852 $150 shipped on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-ALPINE-CDE-9852-CD-MP3-WMA-RECEIVER_W0QQitemZ110019917222QQihZ001QQcategoryZ39750QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Front Coaxials - Pioneer Revs $99 at most stores, prolly get them for 85-90 shipped online. http://cgi.ebay.com/PIONEER-TS-D601P-6-5-6-1-2-260W-REV-SERIES-SPEAKERS_W0QQitemZ280018186816QQihZ018QQcategoryZ58027QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Rear Fill - leave it stock or look around for some used speakers that do 50-75 RMS.

Coaxial amp - look for a Profile AP600. You can get them for 50-60 shipped used and 80-90 new. http://cgi.ebay.com/PROFILE-California-AP600-600W-2-CH-Amplifier_W0QQitemZ5831157633QQihZ008QQcategoryZ18796QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Sub - 1 12" Type R - 140 shipped. (get dual 2 ohm so you can wire it to 1 ohm)

1500W_W0QQitemZ9742998595QQihZ008QQcategoryZ18803QQcmdZViewItem

Sub Amp - Hifonics Brutus Bxi1206d $240 shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-06-HIFONICS-BXI1206D-MONOBLOCK-AMP-1200W_W0QQitemZ220017617269QQihZ012QQcategoryZ18797QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Total - about $750. That leaves you 250 dollars which is plenty enough for a custom enclosure. Build it yourself and you can have about 200 extra bucks to spend on wiring and mounting accessories, or however you want. Put the sub in about 2 cubes tuned to 32-34 hertz and it should get pretty loud. This would all come together to be a REALLY solid system, especially for 750 bucks.
