Need a new ride... and advice on what to get.

IF you dont live in cali- 240sx w/ a SR- CRAZY aftermarket, TRUST me. Ive been pricng out a system for over 550+hp on the stock block, real cheap to do. What is cool is that you can get about 240hp out of the stock turbo w/ fmic(800) new downpipe and exhaust and intake(1k) so for like 1800$ youre set w/ another 40hp, plus you can get a bigger turbo, new injectors, and youre done(besides random stuff)

Or a 300zx...**** nice cars.

or a FC..those are good.

Off your list I would pick the SC400.

It has style, luxury and fast and could be had for a decent price considering it was over 40 grand brand new. Also if the the 400 is too pricey try the SC300. The main difference in the two is that the 300 is an inline 6 and the 400 is a V8.

Well, I have an update of some sort... Eh...

1997 VW Jetta GLX

VR6 Motor, Black, 5 spd

17" aftermarket rims, lowering

kit in the box ready to install

many, many extras 120k,

ex. condition $7500

The person selling it is willing to go down a-lot! He has 6 other vehicles and is sick of it in his garage. I'm going to offer him 5500. It's about all I can afford, and that ad had been in there for 4 months.

The VR6 has some very potent aftermarket mods available, and from a Sport Compact Car magazine one of my friends left at my house, "fast."

If this don't go through,

What year 240sx do i look for???

Does a ford ranger 2wd ext-cab 5-spd come with a 4.0 V-6??? (summit sells nice supercharger kit for it!) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

S13 ('89-'94) is the preferred choice of most ... I like my S12 better for daily driving than the S13, though ... Great low-end and midrange (no power over 5500 RPM really, despite the 7000 RPM redline), fuel efficient, much lighter, shorter, lower, etc. ...
The S13 obviously has a huge advantage in many areas over my car with its lengthened wheelbase, wider stance, wider tires, better aerodynamics, more rigid chassis, more powerful engine, and MUCH better aftermarket (S12 = no aftermarket) ...
I really don't like either of those, much prefer the S14 or even the S21... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

Ha ha... Uh, yea, I have no idea what your're talking about... (Volvos? I think.)

I'll keep that in mind in my escapades on autotrader and ebaymotors... Thanks!

Does anybody have an opinion on the Jetta? The Lexus is kina out because I can't find one anywhere about my village...

I'ts coming down to a long weekend of running Restore oil additive through the Vic and hoping the 15mpg I'm getting now improves after that. Of course it still has the original coil packs, they need to be replaced, and I am running a set of Goodyear MSR's on the back (heavy doody offroad tires from a junk Jeep we have in our yard because I didn't have enough money to buy new ones) and the shocks are shot, I broke off the antenna by accident... Yay, all I need is 4-500 bucks clear so I can fix those problems, or just start over. I'd much rather start over.
