This is a really subjective thing. You hear from both camps - some love it, some hate it. Though I will say there does seem to be a lack of middle ground about it - you're on one extreme or the other. Yes, you hear from more people that dislike it more than people that enjoy it but that is human nature no matter what the specific is...you always hear from more displeased people on any one thing than you will from the people that like it.

Yep.Well, in the car. In the house I have my old KDC-X679, a really beat up (cosmetically) Alpine CDA-7875, and the last Kenwood cassette deck I ever bought, a KRC-608.

What would be different between that 25th anniversary deck and the new kenwood x990? besides the x990 has the usb port. Which one would be better if price was no consideration?
